Ephod, Breastplate of High Priest, set with Hoshen Stones
Silver Ring set with the "Choshen" stones of the Twelve Tribes, hand-made with Swarovski stones. A unique gift and reminder from Israel. Made in Jerusalem!
This breastplate was held to the tunic-like garment known as an ephod by means of gold chains / ropes that were tied to the gold rings of the ephod's shoulder straps, and by means of a blue ribbon that was tied to the gold rings on the ephod's belt.
The Hoshen ring is decorated with the 12 stones representing the stones of the breastplate of the high priest in the Temple.
12 stones arranged according to the breastplate stones described in the Book of Exodus: Odem, Nephech, Leshem, Tarshish, Petda, Sapir, Shebo, Shoham, Barkat, Yaholum, Achalma, Yishpa.
